Creating a Scene
Within the application, a scene is a part of a script, starting with the Scene Heading type paragraph and ending with the next paragraph of the Scene Heading type or Act.
Scenes are defined and created automatically based on the script text. However, you can create a scene directly from the scenes panel.
To create a scene from the scenes panel, click on the Plus icon.
After that, in the dialog, fill in the required fields and click "Ok". The new scene will appear at the end of the list of scenes.
A new Scene Heading paragraph will be created in the script text.
Scene Dialog
The Title field is the same as the Scene Heading in the script. So by changing it here, you are changing it in the script. This is a required field.
In the Description field, you can enter any information related to the scene that is useful to you.
You can also see the description of the scene in the tooltip when you hover over the scene in the list of scenes.
This information is not displayed in any way in the text of the script.
You can also assign a specific color to the scene to be able to quickly find it in the list of scenes or in the story map.
